Imagination Library Gala – Once Upon a Time

With our recent entry into the Knoxville market, we were given the opportunity to create the lighting design for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Gala. This year’s theme was “Once upon a time in Spain… The Story of Ferdinand”. It was held on Friday April 6th at the Mill and Mine.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, age appropriate books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter their family’s income. Since the program’s launch in 1995, over 1 million books are mailed out each month. This year’s Knox County honoree was Dr. Joe Johnson, President Emeritus of The University of Tennessee. Guests enjoyed a puppet show rendition of Ferdinand as well as entertainment from local Flamenco dancers. Here are some of our favorite photos captured by Temple Photography of the evening.

Thank you to the Imagination Library of Knox County for having us! We loved seeing our design come to life in such a perfect setting.
