Nashville Fashion Week
As usual for this time of year, the buzz in our office is the preparation for Nashville Fashion Week starting April 3. This is a week where fashion takes over the city of Nashville with 4 nights of runway shows, daily learning labs, designer pop ups, city wide shopping, and fashion talks with special guests. Ticket proceeds from NFW benefit the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. This is an endowment established in 2011 that is dedicated to supporting the next generation of fashion industry professionals with ties to Middle Tennessee. We are so proud to be a sponsor and for our very own Tate Forbes to be a director. She works tirelessly year round to ensure the production for the runway shows goes off flawlessly.
In years past, each night of runway shows has been held at different venues throughout town. This year they are changing things up a bit. NFW has partnered with OZ Arts Nashville for all four nights of runway shows. Not only will you experience different designers each night but you will also see a transformation of the venue each night. Here are few photos from last year’s shows to wet your whistle.

This year’s line up will feature a Nashville Designer Showcase on April 3, a Ready-to-Wear Showcase on April 4, an Emerging Designers Showcase on April 6, and a Grand Finale Showcase on April 7 featuring designs by Anna Sui and musical guest Karen Elson.
