BRIGHT Highlight: The Cordelle
This month’s BRIGHT Highlight features The Cordelle and its stellar event team! Built in the late 1800’s, The Cordelle is a beautifully restored Victorian-era venue in Nashville’s historic Rutledge Hill neighborhood. Its gorgeous blend of vintage and modern characteristics make it a versatile space for all kinds of social and private events, from fashion and awards shows to corporate parties and weddings. Their Great Hall, with its beamed ceiling and white walls, is the perfect blank slate. We’ve been lucky to work in this space for many of the various events they host and look forward to more great events to come!
In 2014, we had the pleasure of lighting The Bride Room Fashion Show in the Cordelle’s Great Room, where we hung our 7ft Birdcage against tree-inspired gobos for a stunning runway backdrop. Photo Credit: Mary Deaton Studios.
This year’s AMAX Fashion Show was another opportunity to show off the versatility of the space. Opting for a cleaner look, our Scenic Flats and uplighting kept the focus on the fashion. Photo credit: Brett Warren Photography
And Nashville Fashion Week, where our Rozz and Star Pendants hung over a beautifully appointed table. Photo credit: Snappy Lifestyle
Our Birdcage made another appearance at Vh1’s Save the Music Event with Elle King and The Catbird Seat‘s Chef Trevor Moran where our team managed all the lighting and sound production. Such a perfect space for the event!
And don’t forget – weddings! The Cordelle was first imagined as a wedding venue for owner Leigh Watson’s wedding to husband David. The venue remains a stunning space to celebrate your wedding day with friends and family.
