Be BRIGHT by Giving BRIGHT – Our Donation Drive Continues!

We are in the final stretch of our Month of Giving BRIGHT and all we have to say is WOW!  So far we have collect 19 (large!) bags of clothing, sheets, towels, blankets, household items and coats for a lot of grateful people in the Nashville community.  Our office will be closing up shop for Christmas and New Years (closed Dec 23 – Jan 2) so THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20th is the last day you can drop off items for our Month of Giving BRIGHT.  Clean out your closets, ask your family members to clean out theirs, share with your friends on facebook – please help us turn these 19 bags into 30 bags!!

Of our charities being helped, we are highlighting Mending Hearts today -They specifically treat women (mostly older) who have been in rehab, jail, and similar with their proven 12-step recovery program.  While taking into account that each woman’s experience is unique with different circumstances, the organization’s leadership is able to related – everyone in their management staff has gone through the same thing. They can relate first-hand to how the program has worked for them. Women in the program are allowed to stay up to a year and any clothing or food donations are appreciated.  Find out more about Mending Hearts at their website.
