Announcing a Month of Giving BRIGHT!

enews_dec_give

Giving back and supporting the local community has been an important part of Bright Event Productions since the beginning.  With that in mind, we are excited to announce the Month of Giving BRIGHT!  We knew we wanted to support local charities so Abi tapped her good friend, Laura Little – a local Robin Hood of sorts, working give to those in need.   With Laura’s lead, BRIGHT  is partnering with Nashville based organizations Safe Harbor, Mending Hearts, Yana’s House and Noah’s Ark  and asking for your to help!  These local charities work to help men and women coming out of the corrections system back on their feet, service women with addictions and help save animals from hoarding situations.  With your donations we can bring a lot of BRIGHT to people and animals in need!

Here’s what we need – condition is not important on linens or clothes so clean out your closets!

  • Dog Food
  • Blankets
  • Towels
  • Sheets
  • Men’s and Women’s clothing of all kinds (specifically Men’s Winter coats, socks and underwear)

For the next few weeks we will be highlighting each of these organizations and the work they do – up first, Noah’s Ark Society.

Paws Xmas Flyer to print 2013 Locally based in Nashville, this no-kill facility is a shelter for dogs, cats, horses, etc. They foster the animals, often removed from bad homes and hoarding circumstances until they find a good home.  Noah’s Ark also neuters, provides vaccines, and other vet care while an animal is under their care.  Their mission is to rescue, educate, rehabilitate and love all animals that come to us in need as well as be a voice in animal cruelty legislation.  It was easy for Team BRIGHT to get behind this, particularly with furry mascots like Girl and Monroe – You can find out more about this great organization at their website.

My Sister’s Closet is hosting a “Designer Yard Sale” Pet Food and Blanket Drive called Paws on the Pavement Dec 7th. All of the proceeds from this designer yard sale will go directly to the Noah’s Ark Society and will feature clothing from My Sister’s Closet and Free Beer Men’s Consignment. They are in need of Volunteers so if you have this coming Saturday off and want to help, please call 615-438-7184.

Next week we will feature our second charity on the blog, Yana House as well as Laura Little and her amazing passion for these organizations.  Until then, please spread the word and bring your donations to our office, 712 Rundle Ave as well as Southern Events Party Rentals in Franklin (101 Alpha Drive, Franklin TN).  Email info@brighteventproductions.com with any questions.
